Naturally Clean®
An exceptional smart alternative and responsible finishing process. Naturally Clean takes a cost-effective modern approach that eliminates aggressive treatments and optimizes clean surfaces, vivid colors, and beautifully smooth to the touch feel. Naturally Clean achieves this by using Novozymes technologies, the company is indeed the world leader in biological solutions. Second, using textile chemicals with the lowest possible environmental impact without compromising performance. Naturally Clean is a long-lasting technology that maintains the original characteristics for an extended period of time and the LCA of the process is available. All materials are Oeko-Tex conform. According to Novozymes, this finishing technique extends the life of the garment by at least 20%.

The increase in lifetime of a garment could be one of the main pathways for decreasing the environmental impact of textile industry. On this topic, Wrap published a report where is stated that by extending the life of clothes by just nine extra months of active use, we would be able to reduce carbon, water and waste footprints by around 20-30% each.

TENCELTM Lyocell:

TencelTM Lyocell fibers are produced from renewable raw material, being manufactured using an environmentally responsible production process. Wood and pulp used by the LenzingTM Group come from natural forests and sustainably managed plantations.

The underlying idea of the Lyocell process is to dissolve and process the pulp in a closed loop without any chemical derivatisation. Derived from nature, all Lyocell fiber types have been certified by the Belgium certification company VINÇOTTE as biodegradable and compostable under industrial, home, soil and marine conditions, and thus, they can fully revert to nature.

TENCELTM Lyocell fibers are certified with the internationally recognized EU Ecolabel, an environmental quality label only awarded to products and services which have a significantly lower environmental impact throughout their entire lifecycle.

Elastane: 

The main property of elastane is the capability of form-fitting and its unique stretchiness. The use of elastane guarantees a final fabric with increased stretch and a stable dimensional stability.
